SALMET-FIENHAGE has been developing, manufacturing and distributing high quality poultry equipment since 1962. SALMET offers high standards, innovative ideas and fine-tuned technological solutions from its German facilities.

• 2023

  Fienhage GmbH takes over the products and brand of SALMET.

• 2021

  Extension of the Factory and Logistics with a new business center in Pfaffenhofen, Germany

• 2020

  Opening of Salmet Asia office

• 2019

  Introduction of iCenter augmentend reality customer experience

• 2017/2018

  Expansion of the factory in Ittlingen, Germany with new machinery

• 2016

  Opening of sales office in Panama

• 2008

  Construction of several production and storage facilities, as well as an office complex. Employees now numbering 200. Extension of factory ground to more than 2 hectares.

• 1993

  The fall of the Berlin Wall made the acquisition of a new location in Berge, Germany possible

• 1979

  Construction of the sheet metal production area with interim storage facility and access to warehouse

• 1969

  Construction of the third facility for housing of the spot-welding shop

• 1967/ 1968

  Construction of the galvanizing plant integrated into the existing facility

  Construction of the second production and assembly facility

• 1964

  Move into the new production facility with offices and meeting rooms with ten employees. In the following months, the number of employees steadily increases.

  1962 Phillip Zimmer & Horst Lackner start business in their garage, producing the first components
