La representación de Salmet en el área está compuesto por una red de RBMs responsables por los negocios y ventas.
Cuentan con el respaldo de una oficina bien establecida y de propiedad de Salmet en Panamá, para brindar apoyo en ventas, posventa y soluciones técnicas.

Además de sus equipos avícolas ya bien conocidos, Salmet está expandiendo con sus sistemas de producción de pollos de engorde, reproductoras pesadas/livianas y para aves libres de jaula.

Además es muy reconocido por los sistemas de tratamientos de gallinaza/pollinaza, más sus conceptos de ahorro de energía, todo con sus innovadores paquetes de software y hardware de monitoreo e informes.

Regional Business Manager (RBM)

El RBM es un vendedor con un historial establecido en la venta de bienes de capital / proyectos en uno o más de los países de América Latina.
Usted es un hombre de negocios con una sólida red en la industria agropecuaria(ganadera), habilidades probadas de venta de proyectos / bienes de capital, conocimiento de la producción pecuaria (preferiblemente avicultura). REGIONAL BUSINESS MANAGER (RBM)

Salmet’s representation in the area is done with a network of RBMs responsible for the business and sales.

They are supported by a well-established company-owned office in Panama for support in sales, after-sales, and technical solutions.
In addition to its well-known poultry equipment, SALMET keeps expanding with its systems for broiler production, parent-stock, and cage-free production.

In addition, it is very known for its poultry manure treatment systems, its energy-saving concepts, and all this with its innovative monitoring and reporting hard and software packages.

Regional Business Manager (RBM)

The RBM is a salesperson with an established track record in selling capital goods/projects in one or more Latin American countries. You are a businessperson with a strong network in the agricultural (livestock) industry, proven sales skills of  projects/capital goods, and knowledge of animal husbandry (preferably poultry). In addition to Spanish, you communicate at an advanced level in the English language.

SUPERVISOR DE INSTALACIONES / TÉCNICO DE SERVICIO (ES)

Certificaciones:

Certificación técnica y/o certificación en una disciplina mecánica más eléctrica y/o habilidades/experiencias en disciplinas equivalentes.

Responsabilidades:

Usted será responsable de la supervisión, en todos los países de América Latina y América del Norte, de los proyectos in situ de sistemas completos de equipos avícolas, inspecciones, reparaciones, mantenimiento, incluyendo todo lo relacionado con los procedimientos mecánicos y eléctricos, hasta la puesta en marcha final.

Área de aplicación:

Todo el continente americano (incluyendo EE. UU.-Canadá / excluyendo Brasil).

Calificaciones:

Experiencia en instalación y/o mantenimiento de equipos avícolas (mecánicos y eléctricos).

Capacidad para trabajar de forma autónoma, disciplinada, creativa y autosuficiente.

Dominio de los idiomas español e inglés a un nivel avanzado (Obligatorio).

Visa válida de Canadá y / o EE. UU. (Obligatorio).

Disponibilidad para viajar y pasar períodos largos en el sitio del proyecto.

INSTALLATION SUPERVISOR/SERVICE TECHNICIAN (EN)

Certifications:

Technical degree and/or certification in mechanical plus electrical engineering or related discipline and/or equivalent skills/experience.

Responsibilities:

Will be responsible for the supervision all over Latin and North American countries, for on-site projects of complete poultry equipment systems, inspections, repairs, and maintenance, including all related to the mechanical and electrical procedures, up to the final commissioning.

All of the Americas (including USA-Canada / excluding Brazil)

Qualifications:

Experience in installation and/or maintenance of poultry equipment (mechanic and electric)

Independent, disciplined, creative and self-reliant way of working

Spanish and English languages at an advanced level (Mandatory)

Valid Canada and/or USA Visa (Mandatory)

Availability to travel and spend long periods on the project site

REGIONAL SALES DIRECTOR – LATIN AMERICA

Regional sales director Latin America (RSD)

The RSD manages the sales team of the Regional Business Managers (RBM) and is heavily and personally involved in securing deals in the area. He is also the link between the sales team and the local organization in Panama and/or the central organization in Germany for all market and customer related matters. The RSD also keeps a strong connection concerning market developments and has inputs for product and portfolio development. The RSD reports to the sales director.

For this position we are looking for candidates who have experience in a similar position and/or as key account manager and/or as business development manager including the experience to manage sales teams.

The RSD must be fluent in Spanish and English. He/she is ideally based in the area, but being based in Europe or USA can also be considered. It is important to have experience in working for a North-West European company, understanding the cultures of the market, the local team and the European parent company’s culture. Frequent travelling is an integral part of this position.

The ideal candidate has a proven record of successfully managing sales of capital goods and has a strong network in the area. He has a minimum experience of 10 years in an industrial company and he understands all business principles in such an environment from the perspective of the client (investors, management, farm management, technical management) and from our perspective as manufacturer (business principles, financing of projects, risk management, export, legal aspects, managing sales teams).

The candidate manages his sales team (RBM’s) by delegating, monitoring and supporting these RBM’s based on their responsibilities and encouraging them to be successful in developing their markets and success. Last but not least: the candidate has a natural character in never giving up and organizes business in such a way that always there is a way upwards for the company, himself and his team.

About Salmet’s infrastructure in Latin America

Salmet is proud to have developed a strong team in the region to support the customers and Salmet’s growth. Salmet operates out of its regional office in the WTC in Panama City and consists of a General Manager who manages the daily activities of the office, comprised of administration, back-office sales-support colleagues and technical engineers in the service department.

In addition, the organization comprises a sales team of 6 Regional Business Managers, supported by technical specialists to co-design technical solutions for the clients and poultry husbandry specialists for on-farm advising and training. Further there is a large team of technical supervisors who are responsible for supervising the installations of Salmet’s complete systems (mechanical, electric, climate, energy) anywhere the Americas. This entire organization is already fully operational, which means that the RSD has his hands free to fully focus on the market and establishing business in the widest sense of the word.

DATA ANALYZER

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interpreting data and analysing results from industrial/poultry equipment using statistical techniques
  • Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases
  • Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements
  • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Generating professional data reports including KPI’s to be used by customers and the management at Salmet
  • Work closely together with web developer engineers to implement data analysis into the dashboards
  • Work very closely together with our poultry experts around the world

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, preferably with a Master´s degree in Operations Research or Applied Statistics
  • Located in Panama. If is a foreigner must have a valid residence and work permit
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst (preferably in industrial environments)
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Strong knowledge of using Jupyter Notebooks and/or Jupyter Lab
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with tools and packages like: Scipy, Numpy, MatplotLib, Seaborn and Pandas
  • Strong knowledge of Python
  • Basic knowledge about Linux Servers (Ubuntu)
  • Strong knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to details and accuracy
  • Feeling comfortable in giving presentations to internal colleagues in English
